cheesecake brownies

So some of that fancy chocolate we bought was 85% cacao....which, if you've never tried it, is incredibly bitter....let's just say I took one bite, made a face, and then decided I'd just have to bake with it instead! (Oh tragic, that I have to bake with a free bar of fancy chocolate ;D)


So I found a recipe for cheesecake brownies....


and yes, they were FABULOUS.

75% cacao is about the upper limits of my dark chocolate tolerance (and I *love* dark chocolate!!). Yay for you... making yummy goodies out of something "incredibly bitter"!!

Yum! But you are crazy, I LOVE super dark chocolate. We bought some 85% in Canada just recently and it was gone before we got home...:) Glad you found a way to turn into something you'd love, too!

hey can you send me that recipe? nate asks for cream cheese brownies all the time and i always make the same ones and tell myself to use a different recipe the next time because they don't turn out great. yours look great.
