Dots and such

Have you heard that you can tell when your baby recognizes themselves in the mirror?  You're supposed to put a dot or small mark on the baby's nose and then let him look in the mirror.  If he touches the mirror, he doesn't recognize the dot as being on his own nose, but if he looks in the mirror and then touches the dot on his own nose, he's recognized that the mirror is showing him himself.  We tried this experiment with Nikolai recently and  it worked--he touched the dot on his own nose!

Speaking of dots--I've been playing this puzzle game called Tapestry recently where you make a picture with dots by putting certain numbers of black dots in a row.  I finally finished all of the puzzles recently and the final one was this! 

It takes a second, but do you see it?  Mama and daddy, kissing their sweet baby?  Does it, bychance, look familiar to you? 

It sure did to us!
